Professional Inspiration

Blessed Mother Theresa is my inspiration in nursing.
I can utilize my given gifts in other ways,
But no more giving way than this.
I can find a better paying job,
But no better job for my soul than this one.
I can take a more prestigious position,
But no more prestige than to serve those no one else will.
I'm not a wealthy man,
But I'm more wealthy because of her teachings.
My resources can be limited,
But I saw what she did with less.
I am no saint,
But I'm less the sinner because of her ways.
I'm not the best nurse,
But I'm a good one because of her example.
