Jack The Rabbit And Pussy The Cat

( a happy love poem)
Jack the rabbit and Pussy the cat
Were out getting drunk and high!
Without a care in the world or scrap of concern,
They were both just having a great time.

Stretched out on the grass
Back by the railroad tracks with
An overflowing bag of ganja green and gold.
Both just soaking up the summertime sun.

Jack drained the last of the beer,
Turned to Pussy and said,
"Looks like the well's gone dry,
So it's time for another run!"

Pussy replied, "It's not a good idea
But give me the keys so I can drive.
You're stoned out of your mind
And you know you can't handle your high."

Jack gave up the keys
As easy as please
And bombed out of their minds
To the corner store they did fly.

Ten minutes later with a 12 pack
Of beer and a big bottle wine,
The last of their cash they used
To continue their summertime ganja bash.

Jack said,"This ganja good, this ganja
Pure, this ganja come from God.
Frees your heart, frees your mind
And makes you feel so good!"

The sun started to set and the stars came
Out, They passed out in each others arms.
They dreamt both sweet and tumultuous
Dreams until the following dawn.
