The Almost Perfect Spoon

Little brown spoon

From a pack of MRE's,

With a long slender handle and

Narrow bowel to get

Down deep into the pouch.

Not big enough to ladle or serve

But just the right size to stir my

Instant coffee and eat my meal.

I'm tired and I'm hungry and

My best friend in the whole world
