Continuing On The Line

Sometimes I lose Jesus
But Jesus never loses me.
I take comfort in this truth
On my daily journey.

I'll try to follow His Word,
I'll try to follow The Way.
I'll battle my earthly desires
And limits each and every day.

Something in my heart and soul
Will show me properly.
Something else sparks a fight
Deep within my mind and body.

This battle rages and wages
For an eternal prize.
I'll pick up my rosary and pray
To calm the storm and realize.

I'm not perfect and I'll
Stumble from time to time.
I'll fall down just so I can
Get back up and continue on the line.
