Happiness Is Relative
My happiness is relative to great and many things. I profess
Not any one who, what, when, where, how, or why
Will make or break my happiness.
My happiness comes and goes from without and within
And what may have made me happy yesterday
May not make me happy today, tomorrow, or ever again.
One must go through deserts to get to promised lands
And sometimes unhappiness endured may be
Necessary for new happiness to come to hand.
One must search - relative or not
And get to know ones self because only our selves
Are responsible for our happiness or the lack thereof.
My happiness is relative and I must learn to what.
I'll only just touch on it by discovering
Myself and what makes me happy and what doesn't.
It will come and it will go and some days will be
Better than others, after all, it's all relative.
I'm happy to say, most of the time, I'm simply just happy.
Not any one who, what, when, where, how, or why
Will make or break my happiness.
My happiness comes and goes from without and within
And what may have made me happy yesterday
May not make me happy today, tomorrow, or ever again.
